Vaisala DM70 DRYCAP® Hand-Held Dew point Meter measures dew point and temperature accurately over a wide measurement range. The probe may be inserted directly into pressurized processes up to 20 bar (290 psi), and the Sensor Purge feature allows for rapid response from ambient to dry process conditions. The autocalibration function is incorporated for excellent long-term stability.

While the DM70 is designed for high accuracy in very dry conditions, the sensor fully recovers from condensation. This model offers various configuration options suitable for checking the operation of desiccant or refrigerant dryers in compressed air systems. It is also commonly used for transformer and plastics drying, as well as nitrogen purged systems.

In addition to dew point and temperature, DM70 displays other calculated humidity parameters (dew point converted to atmospheric pressure, ppm volume and ppm weight concentration, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, relative humidity), all available in both metric (°C) and non-metric (°F) units.

DM70 can be used as a field check or single-point calibration reference for other Vaisala fixed transmitters such as our DMT132, DMT143, DPT146, and DMT340 Series.

The MI70 Indicator included in this meter also supports the use of Vaisala’s other portable probes for humidity, carbon dioxide and moisture in oil measurement, making it a versatile investment applicable to several multi-parameter applications. Two probes can simultaneously be connected to the same MI70 Indicator.

A standard ISO 9001 factory calibration certificate is included in delivery. ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available upon request.

The MI70 Link Windows® software (download for free at www.vaisala.com/insight) and the USB connection cable form a practical means for transferring logged and real time measurement data from the DM70 to a PC. The meter can log up to 2700 real time data points.
