Vaisala MM70 HUMICAP® Hand-Held Moisture in Oil and Temperature Meter measures moisture in oil in terms of water activity (aw). Water activity directly indicates whether there is a risk of free water formation. The measurement is independent of oil type, age and temperature.

The probe can be inserted (and removed) directly into a process pipe through the supplied ball valve without the need to drain your system.

MM70 can be used as a field check or single-point calibration reference for other Vaisala fixed transmitters such as our MMT162, MMT310 and MMT330 Series.

The MI70 Indicator included in this meter also supports the use of Vaisala’s other portable probes for humidity, carbon dioxide and moisture in oil measurement, making it a versatile investment applicable to several multi-parameter applications. Two probes can simultaneously be connected to the same MI70 Indicator.

The MI70 Link Windows® software (available for download on Vaisala’s website) and the USB connection cable form a practical means for transferring logged and real time measurement data from the MM70 to a PC. The meter can log up to 2700 real time data points.
