Vaisala HM70 HUMICAP® Hand-Held Humidity and Temperature Meter is designed for accuracy over a wide measurement range. This model offers various configuration options suitable for demanding spot check measurements in rooms, air ducts, incubators, chambers, etc.
HM70 can be used as a field check or single-point calibration reference for other Vaisala fixed transmitters such as our HMD60/70, HMW90, HMDW110, HMS110, HMT120/130, and HMT330 Series.
In addition to relative humidity and temperature, HM70 displays other calculated humidity parameters (absolute humidity, dew point, enthalpy, mixing ratio, wet bulb), all available in both metric (°C) and non-metric (°F) units.
The MI70 Indicator included in this meter also supports the use of Vaisala’s other portable probes for dewpoint, carbon dioxide and moisture in oil measurement, making it a versatile investment applicable to several multi-parameter applications. Two probes can simultaneously be connected to the same MI70 Indicator.
A standard ISO 9001 factory calibration certificate is included in delivery. ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available upon request.
MI70 Link Windows® software (available for download on Vaisala’s website) and the USB connection cable form a practical mean for transferring logged and real time measurement data from the HM70 to a PC. The meter can log up to 2700 real time data points.
Build your own humidity calibration station by combining the HM70 with the HMK15 salt calibration kit.
HM70 can be used as a replacement for the discontinued HMI41 Series Meters (HMP45, HMP46).
Note: If you already have a Vaisala MI70 Series meter (i.e. DM70, MM70 or GM70), you can order the HM70 probe only and use with your existing MI70 indicator (please select no indicator in the configuration). Please contact the Vaisala Sales team with any questions.
