IGNITION TRANSFORMER, SEO, 120VAC, DEZ 101

The DUNGS DEZ are electronic high-performance ignition transformers with high-frequency oscillation technology. Compared with conventional inductive ignition transformers, the DEZ

are much smaller and lighter. Designs for one or two ignition electrodes are available in different voltage versions. SEO Model is the single electrode model. SEO versions are to be used when both ignition of the burner \& flame monitoring via flame rod (ionization) are done with the same electrode.

For oil and gas burners, ignition takes place, depending on design, with one ignition electrode against the burner mass or with two ignition electrodes between the electrodes. The DEZ ignition transformers are available in two versions: either (DEZ 1xx) with a high-voltage output for ignition against the burner mass or (DEZ 2xx) with two high-voltage outputs for ignition

between the electrodes. For use in burner systems in which ignition and ionization flame monitoring takes place via a common electrode, the “SEO” versions must be used. Transformers for two electrodes are available upon request.

DEZ transformers require non-standard ignition cables.
