DEZ 101 Ignition Transformer

The Dungs 255018 (DEZ 101) is an oil and gas burner electronic ignition transformer with IP54 enclosure.  This high-voltage transformer has a primary voltage of 120VAC and a secondary voltage (+/- 10%) of 1x15kV.  The current consumption is 0.5A and a 55VA power consumption. It is UL Recognized and CE certified.

The Dungs DEZ transformers are constructed to provide high performance with high-frequency oscillation technology.  Made to be smaller, lighter, and available in two versions with different voltage outputs.  First version, the DEZ 1xx with high voltage output suitably for ignition against the burner mass.  Secondly, the DEZ 2xx with two high-voltage outputs for ignition between the electrodes.

Note: A non-standard ignition cable is required for DEZ transformers and may only be put into operation if the ignition electrodes are built into the touch-proof burner. The ignition line must not exceed 1m and it is mandatory to connect the protective earth.
