Vaisala GMP252 CARBOCAP® Carbon Dioxide Probe  is an intelligent, stand-alone probe for measuring carbon dioxide (CO2) in a variety of applications such agriculture, refrigeration, greenhouses, plant growth chambers and demanding HVAC environments where stable and accurate ppm-level CO2 measurements are needed.

For outdoor CO2 measurement, the GMP252 Probe can be combined with the DTR250 or DTR250A shield.

GMP252 is based on Vaisala’s unique, second-generation CARBOCAP® technology that enables exceptional stability. A new type of infrared (IR) light source is used instead of the traditional incandescent light bulb, which extends the lifetime of the sensor.

GMP252 provides temperature compensation of the CO2 measurement according to the ambient temperature. Effects of pressure and background gas can also be compensated for to ensure the most accurate results.

This probe is configurable with a full-scale measurement range of 0 … 10 0000 ppm CO2, but can be used at any range in between. The operating temperature range is -40 … +60 °C (-40 … +140 °F) and the probe housing is classified as IP65. Condensation can be prevented by enabling the built in sensor heating function.

A standard ISO 9001 factory calibration certificate is included in delivery. ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available upon request.

GMP252 can also be combined with the Vaisala MI70 hand-held indicator or INDIGO200 Series Transmitter if a display or relays are needed. 

GMP252 can be used as a replacement for the discontinued GMM222 or GMT222 models. Compatible with Vaisala Insight software(download for free at www.vaisala.com/insight).
