SmartX sensors are a family of living space sensors for usewith SmartX IP controllers that use the EcoStruxure BuildingOperation software user interface. - These sensors use an RJ-45sensor bus that provides communication and power from theSmartX IP controller.- SmartX living space sensors are modular and are ordered intwo parts: the sensor base and the cover. - Four SmartX communicatingsensor base models are available that can be pairedwith any one of six covers.- The SXWSC3PSELXX 3-button cover offers setpoint andoverride control with a passive infrared (PIR) motion detector to determine occupancy status. Setpoint and override parameters are configuredusing EcoStruxure Building Operation software. Status isprovided via LED halo at the bottom of the sensor. It also uses a passiveinfrared (PIR) motion detector to determine occupancy status.- The system may be configured using EcoStruxure BuildingOperation software to override comfort settings to occupied statuswhen occupancy is detected during scheduled unoccupiedperiods.
