This 1-¼” by 1” lead free dual check valve backflow preventer helps prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It consists of a lead free cast copper silicon alloy body with two plastic replaceable check valves, stainless steel springs, and 1 ¼ inch female meter thread swivel inlet by 1 inch NPT female threaded union outlet. This valve is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications. It is installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter, in a vertical or horizontal position. Minimum working pressure is 10 psi (69 kPa). Maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10 bar).
