This 2-½” lead free dielectric flange pipe fitting is designed for commercial and residential applications such as the connections of piping of dissimilar metals on a hot water storage tank, water and air conditioners, processing tanks, steam, gas, and water piping to prevent accelerated corrosion and deterioration in the piping system due to galvanic and stray current. It is suitable for water, air, oil, natural gas, propane, gasoline, kerosene, mineral oil, vegetable oil, and alkaline. It consists of an iron pipe thread to copper solder joint flange tailpiece with an EPDM gasket and hardware. The maximum temperature is rated up to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C). The maximum pressure is rated at 50 psi (3.4 bar).
