The STD190 is a mean value temperature sensor containing four thermistors. It is used for temperature measurement in air ducts and is intended for mounting on a grid or on to wires suspended across a duct.

The STD190 is delivered as a complete unit, comprising a junction box (with amplifier) and four thermistors at 1 meter (3.3 ft) intervals along a cable. The distance from the junction box to the first thermistor is 2 meters (6.6 ft).

The STD190 housing is equipped with a 20 mm (0.79 in.) cable fitting.
