Johns Manville - Microlite® EQ Formaldehyde-free duct wrap insulation is a lightweight, blanket-type insulation with an FSK facing for superior thermal and condensation control. It is recommended for HVAC ducts or surfaces where design parameters prohibit the use of a board product. Installing contractors prefer Microlite EQ’s bio-based binder for many reasons including improved handling, easier cutting and less dust. Our manufacturing process ensures consistency during production, which results in consistent product quality.

Description: Microlite® EQ Formaldehyde-free duct wrap insulation is a brown, lightweight, highly resilient, blanket-type thermal insulation.The insulation blanket is manufactured from rotary-process fiberglass bonded with a resin made primarily from rapidly renewableplant-based materials.

Available Forms: Microlite EQ Formaldehyde-free insulation is available in a variety of densities, thicknesses and roll lengths. It is supplied with an FSK (foil-scrim-kraft) vapor barrier facing to meet installed performance requirements, with a 2” (51 mm) stapling tab.

Uses: Microlite EQ insulation is recommended as thermal insulation for the exterior of HVAC systems or other spaces or surfaces where temperature control is required.
