The Siemens/Powers 192 and 193 Series pneumatic room thermostats are designed to control pneumatic valves and damper actuators within heating and air-conditioning systems. Utilizing sensitive bimetal elements, these thermostats respond to temperature fluctuations by modulating control air through a flapper nozzle. They provide a proportional output signal that adjusts pneumatic valves and damper actuators in response to changes in building load. Available in various configurations—including high-volume and low-volume output models—they can meet the diverse functional needs of any building automation system. The 192 and 193 Series thermostats come in single- and dual-pipe, dual-temperature, day/night, and auto-changeover options. Each unit includes a wall-mounted chassis compatible with multiple rough-in installation kits, and air connections are made with 5/32 inch (4 mm) O.D. plastic tubing, either directly to the chassis for retrofit applications or via plug-in adapters that slide into the wall mounting plate.
