CAPP takes consumer protection and disclosure of information about the products we supply to our customers seriously.
The following statement is displayed alongside some products CAPP sells:
This product has not been used and is sold in its original packaging. CAPP is not an authorized dealer or affiliate for the Original Manufacturer, and Original Manufacturer’s warranty does not apply. Instead, this product is backed by CAPP’s hassle free 2-year warranty.
This statement provides clarity and additional information that pertains to certain products, namely how the product may not be supported by the Original Manufacturer in the same way as when purchased directly from the Original Manufacturer or their authorized dealers. In addition, while many products will have firmware already installed, CAPP makes no representation as to whether a product will or will not have firmware, and, if it does have firmware, whether the firmware is the revision level that you need for your application. CAPP also makes no representations as to your ability or right to download or otherwise obtain firmware for the product from the Original Manufacturer, its distributors, or any other source. CAPP also makes no representations as to your right to install any such firmware on the product or the date code of the product. CAPP will not obtain or supply firmware on your behalf. It is your obligation to comply with the terms of any End-User License Agreement or similar document related to obtaining or installing firmware.
In lieu of the lack of support of products by some Original Manufacturers, CAPP offers an independent hassle free 2-year warranty on products where this statement is displayed.
